Horse Logging in Raincliffe Woods Half Term Week

The Sawmill Yard. Park at the Sawmill Carpark and walk up the track to the Sawmill Yard area.

Horse logging, Raincliffe Woods, MissyMissy will be working in Raincliffe Woods now on Monday  the 25th, Wednesday 27th of  February and Friday 1st March weather permitting. Chris Wadsworth will be working with his horse Missy, extracting logs from Raincliffe Woods and taking them to the sawmill storage area. Come and see how well a horse like Missy can handle heavy logs and bring them down steep slopes and across boggy areas.

 

 

 

Please observe all safety instructions and do not enter the area being thinned while operations are in progress. Do not climb on the log stacks.
