Change to meeting venue Saturday 18th October.
We will be meeting at Raincliffe Gate car park this Saturday as it is closer to where we plan to undertake our work.
The woodland across the road from Raincliffe Gate has numerous plastic tubes scattered amongst the undergrowth and a re growing area of rhododendrons towards the Newgate car park end. It is also alive with fungi at the moment. There is also another returning clump of rhododendrons two minutes walk from Raincliffe Gate hidden from the pathway which if we get enough volunteers on the day we can tackle. The weather forecast looks ok so look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
Our second Volunteering Day of the Autumn continuing our clearing of rubbish and plastics in and around Raincliffe Woods. All welcome, all ages and ability there is something for you to help us with. We recommend a pair of good boots, walking shoes or wellingtons and gardening gloves. Spades and forks etc provided.
We look forward to seeing you there, non members welcome.
