Invasive species control removing rhododendrons meeting at Raincliffe gate car park at 10am until 3pm.

Rhododendrons are another invasive non native shrub which was introduced to the UK from the Himalayan mountains. While the flowers are beautiful the shrub concentrates toxins leading to damage to the native habitat which remains long after the shrub as been removed but over time native plants re-establish themselves.
