Last weekend a team of mountain bikers carried out brash clearing to re open the runs closed during the thinning works to the west of the Sawmill Yard site.
A hard days graft for all involved and also cleared the footpath running close by so that walkers did not walk the mountain bike route by mistake!
It is great to see the wide range of woodland users getting involved in the woods and building a community of volunteers to maintain the woods.
As the lighter and warmer days are approaching we are preparing a wide range of tasks in the woodand, from pathway clearance, step repairs to litter picking and rhododendron clearing.
