Gillian, our Events and Outreach Officer at Raincliffe Woods, has spent the week up in Scotland with David Roycroft and Steffi Schaffler of Teamwork Horse Loggers.
This offered the incredible opportunity to learn the basics of one of most traditional and sustainable woodland management techniques.
Despite the wet weather, it was a fantastic week, learning new skills.
While getting very muddy in the process, we worked with a fantastic group of people.
This is definitely something we hope to be using in our management of Raincliffe Woods in the future.
