Without our wonderful group of volunteers, we would not be able to do all the tasks we have to do in the woodland to help it thrive.
We are looking to recruit more volunteers to our conservation days.
A variety of tasks are carried out, such as clearing along the Derwent, boardwalk maintenance, coppicing, ride management, and litter picks.
Our team also take the cuppa break and lunch break very seriously!
It is a lovely day out in beautiful woodlands with a sense of purpose.
The conservations days take place each fortnight on Thursday's the next dates: 20th July, 3rd, 17th, 31st August and then all through the year.
We meet at various car parks in the woods to set off on the day from 10 till 2pm but you can just come for a few hours.
