We have been working hard with the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and Yorkshire Derwent Catchment Partnership on our Biodiversity Enhancement Project.
Recently we've been locating Water Vole Rafts along the Derwent through Forge Valley.
This is to see if water voles are present in the area and to find out what we can do to improve the habitat for them.
We have also been conducting willow tit surveys and eDNA surveys to identify white clawed crayfish, European eels.
