Sign criminally damaged - can you assist with the North Yorkshire Police investigation?

They're appealing for information about criminal damage that occurred to the Throxenby Mere car park sign at Raincliffe Woods, Scarborough.

It happened between 4pm on 13th January and 11am on 14th January 2025.
